The Zink Ridge Talker box call. The name describes the job: reaching a bird on the next ridge, which is a different problem to calling one across a field and needs volume a mouth call cannot produce.
Zink came up through competition calling and it shows in how these are tuned. A contest box has to be clean at every volume, and that discipline carries into the hunting versions.
- Turkey box call
- Zink part number ZNK-RTBC
Broken country is most of what we have here, which makes a loud box more useful in Routt County than it would be in flat timber.
