SureFire G2X LE Flashlight Black 600 and 15 Lumens

The SureFire G2X LE in black, listed as dual output: 600 lumens on high and 15 on low.

The low mode is the interesting number. Fifteen lumens is genuinely low — enough to read a map, sort a pack or move around camp without announcing yourself or resetting anyone’s dark adaptation. A great many lights advertise a low mode that is really a medium, at a hundred lumens or more, and it is useless for exactly the situations a low mode exists for.

A forty to one ratio between high and low is what a two-mode light should look like.
