Streamlight MicroStream USB Flashlight Coyote 250 Lumens

The Streamlight MicroStream USB in coyote, rated at 250 lumens.

Modest output has a benefit that never shows up on packaging: it does not wreck your night vision. Your eyes take twenty minutes or more to fully adapt to the dark and about a second to lose it. Two hundred and fifty lumens bounced off a map or the inside of a tent costs you far less of that adaptation than a thousand does, which matters on a morning where you want to be able to see the treeline unaided at first light.
