Streamlight Super Siege Lantern Coyote 1100 Lumens

The Streamlight Super Siege lantern in coyote, rated at 1100 lumens.

Eleven hundred lumens of diffuse light is a different proposition to eleven hundred lumens in a beam. Spread in every direction it will light a wall tent or a whole work area rather than punching a hole in the dark. At that output it is doing the job a work light does on a job site, not the job a small lantern does over a camp table.

The practical question with a lantern this size is not brightness. It is how long it runs at the level you will actually use, which is usually a fraction of maximum.
