A Twin Power headlamp rated at 550 lumens, in gray. Twin Power means two light sources rather than one, which usually pairs a spot with a flood so you can light the ground at your feet and something further out without changing anything.
That is the most useful arrangement a headlamp can have. A single-emitter headlamp always makes you choose between seeing where you are stepping and seeing where you are going.
- Headlamp, 550 lumens

Field dressing and blood trailing both need both hands, which is why a headlamp earns its place in a pack ahead of a handheld.
