A Haydel’s Magnum cottontail distress call in clear acrylic. Magnum in the name means volume: this is a call for reaching across open country and down a drainage, not for close work.
Cottontail distress is the broadest predator sound there is. It works on coyotes, foxes and bobcats, and it works on animals that have never encountered whatever specialist call you paid more for.
- Cottontail distress call, magnum volume
- Clear acrylic
- Haydel’s part number PC84
Open reed, so you can shade the tone with your lips rather than being locked to one note.
