Streamlight ProTac HL 5-X Flashlight Black 3500 Lumens

The Streamlight ProTac HL 5-X in black, rated at 3500 lumens.

Output at this level has one job it does better than anything else: searching. Looking for a person, a dog, a downed animal or a dropped piece of gear over open ground is the situation where sheer volume of light beats every other quality, because you are trying to see anything at all rather than see one thing well. For everything else it is more light than the job needs.

Lights this bright step down from maximum as they heat up. That is normal, and it is worth knowing the settled output before you rely on the headline one.
